Although they can be designed to remove other metals such as arsenic, iron, selenium, and chromium and some radioactivity and nitrates, water softeners do not protect against protozoa, bacteria and viruses.

- In some areas such as Davie and some Broward County areas, our water softeners can be designed for shallow water (80 feet deep) or deeper water wells (200 feet deep) and we pair the softener with an aerator tank to eliminate common hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) that has infiltrated the water system. These aerator tanks serve as storage for water and truly eliminate the hydrogen sulfide gas.
